Over the past twenty years, Shuptrine has made a name for himself by creating one-of-a-kind museum quality frames for works by artists such as Andrew Wyeth, Henri Matisse, William Merritt Chase, John Singer Sargent, Elliott Daingerfield, Maynard Dixon, and his father, Hubert Shuptrine, to name a few. The creation of these frames, as well as the study of artists such as Charles Prendergast and Childe Hassam, Stanford White has inspired our artisans. Commissioned by nationally acclaimed portrait artist, Bart Lindstrom, this spectacular frame is 8″ wide (but can be made any width), and incorportates reeds, coves, fluted coves, crossed ribbons and scrolled acanthus corners.
